Exceptional School! I had been looking for a Gracie Barra to open in Huntsville for several years. I wanted to recommend a good martial arts program for my grand children. I'm so glad they opened. My two grandchildren have been here for about 8 months and results are fantastic. The owners/instructors are extraordinary. Skilled. Patient. Kind. I have been training in martial arts for more than 40 years and this is one of the best run schools I've seen.

Professors Jimmie and Helen are highly talented, passionate professors with an incredible ability and patience to teach jiu jitsu to all ages and skill levels. They lead a great family-like environment which is complemented by excellent training partners and a squeaky clean mat space. I’ve learned so much here and made a lot of new friends already. You will not regret joining the Gracie Barra Huntsville team.

Instructors Helen and Jimmie provide excellent coaching while leading the fun and engaging classes. The class schedule is substantial and flexible enough to allow me to attend multiple trainings each week, even with my busy work/family life. The facility is very clean, the training mats are always spotless. The classes are approachable even for complete beginners, and there is a friendly, welcoming, and positive gym culture.

ABSOLUTELY, LOVE Gracie Barra!!! My child just started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to watch her learn and develop in each session is absolutely amazing. Professor Jimmie and Professor Helen take the time to make sure the kids are understanding the techniques and the reason behind what is being taught to them in each session. The studio is new and inviting to anyone that walks in to seek information about the martial art and combat sport. New friends are made amongst the kids and my child has left with true meaning behind what she has just learned in class. If you are thinking about Gracie Barra I absolutely recommend you stop by to ask questions or give them a call you will not be disappointed. Great muscle memory and structure for anyone looking to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!!!!

They are wonderful instructors who take the time to work with students to teach new techniques and critique as necessary to help students become their very best.
